Ending summer (que the booooooing, with thumbs down)

Well friends...it's been about a month and Brice is still going strong on the pottying!! YAAAAHHHOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now, if I can get Coop interested and trained...it will be a miracle. We are going on 4 years of buying diapers at our house. We could of financed a year of college with all that we've spent. :)

So, on to more fun things...

We recently made a beach trip with Grammie & Gramps (B's parents for those that may not know). We visited Orange Beach for one last "summer" trip. The weather was ummmm ok. It rained off and on, but there were parts of sunshine. Enough time for us to swim a little, take the boys to ride go-karts (more about this in a few) and eat some yummy food. I have to say, swimming with the boys this summer has been so much fun. They both really love the water and have come so far since last year. I think I've said it once, but I'll say it again, the life jackets have been the best spent money in a long time!

Arcade visit at the beach: The boys were fascinated with all the games last time and certainly loved them again. They are just amazed that you can "win tickets" and then "buy" toys with those tickets. Brice racked up on plastic animal figures and Coop got a couple of toy sharks. However, this trip to the Trak included a ride on the go-karts with daddy & Gramps. The boys absolutely LOVED the go-karts. Mommy was a little nervous and may have preached orders to daddy and Gramps to keep my babies safe! After a few roll of the eyes and yes ma'ams they got the boys strapped in and ready to go.
When they took off, they look on B & C's face was priceless!!!! I think Brandon was loving it way more than Brice (who rode with him), but I think he was just glad the boys are finally big enough to do the "fun stuff." Gramps was totally in his element!!! Most of you know that Gramps loves old & new cars and especially ones that go fast, so when he was driving Coop around he was in heaven. We nicknamed Cooper "Mr. White Nuckles." HA HA HA!!! He looked scaaaaaaaaarrrrrrreeeeddddddd to death riding the the cars, but loved every minute of it. He kept wanting to go back...and we DID! We went back later in the night after dinner to ride for a 2nd time. We may have created a monster.

We are completley sad that summer is winding down. Where did the past 3 months go??? However, we are totally thrilled that football season is almost here! We are taking the boys to an Auburn game this year and cannot wait!!
