Oh the snow

Dashing through the snow...some time in February...oh what fun it is...to watch daddy in the sled! :)

Yes, that's right - central Alabama got snow last week, and lots of it! When I say "lots", that means a whole 2.5 - 3 inches. :) I know that's nothing compared to our family in Maryland/DC area, but hey it's Alabama...we are lucky to see a dusting.

There have been threats here and there since the beginning of the year, but we certainly had our share Friday, Feb. 12. They called school off at 11 a.m., so Brandon picked up the boys while I went to get my hair cut. You know...important things in the middle of our blizzard. :)

We played in the snow Friday afternoon and all morning long Saturday. The boys had a BLAST! Our snow wasn't sticky enough to build a snowman, but we managed a few snow angels. We also broke out the sled and had a few good thrills down the hill beside our house. Both boys rode with Brandon (so I could snap pictures). Brice LOVED it, Coop...not so much. Cooper enjoyed being pulled around in the sled, rather than going fast. Surprising since he is our daredevil.
